Video Call

Creators and Fans can now chat one-to-one on a call!

Updated over 3 weeks ago

📹 Video Calls let creators connect with their fans in real time through one-to-one video conversations. This feature gives you a more personal way to engage your audience, answer questions, and build stronger relationships all within the platform.

With this feature, you control when you’re available for fans to request a call. They can choose to spend time with you, and once accepted, both sides join a private, secure video room to talk face-to-face.

Whether you’re hosting casual chats, offering personalised advice, or creating exclusive fan experiences, Video Calls make it easy to turn your audience into real conversations.

This article will walk you through everything you need to know, including how to enable or disable Video Calls, set your pricing, identify payments, and manage your call requests.

How to Enable or Disable

Turning on the feature is quick and easy. You will need to follow these steps which are also show in the screenshots below:

  • Navigate to your profile page where you will see the Video Call option initially showing as 'OFF'

  • Select it to bring up your options

    • 'Accept Video Call' toggled to green will mean it is active

    • 'Notify Fans' will keep them informed you are ready for calls

  • Once confirmed you will now see 'ON' as the status on your profile

To disable you just need to follow the above steps and ensure that 'Accept Video Call' is toggled off and once confirmed you see 'OFF' once again on your profile.

Pricing and Payments

Video Calls use a per-minute pricing model, giving you full control over how much you charge for your time.

Before a call begins, you set your price per minute from either the preset amounts or add a custom amount which you think best suits your fans.

While a call is in progress, fans also have the option to recharge their balance in real time. This means the conversation doesn’t have to end just because their credit runs out. They can top up and continue talking without being disconnected, as long as you remain available.

The screenshots below show the following:

  • whilst the call is in progress the amount spent will be visible in the top right hand corner

  • a pop-up appears for the fan which will notify when credit is running low and needs to be re-charged

  • how the payment appears on your transaction history

If you have any further questions about the Video Call feature please don't hesitate to contact Support on [email protected] or directly through the app on Chat.
