Your account balance shows you how much money you've earned. There could be a few reasons why you're unable to cash out.
Total Balance: This is the sum of all your earnings but it's important to note that not all of it may be available for immediate withdrawal. This is because your balance is divided into two parts:
Available to pay out to Your Bank: This is the amount you can currently transfer to your bank account. It's the portion of your earnings that has cleared all necessary checks and holds.
Pending: These funds are currently being held by payment processors (e.g. Stripe, Braintree, Apple, Google) for a short period to cover any potential claims, refunds, or disputes from your fans.
βπ‘ This holding period is standard across the industry and not controlled by Luvi. It is there to help protect against potential claims, refunds or disputes. Once cleared, funds move automatically to your available balance. The release date is shown on the payment on your Balance page.
NOTE: Credits applied to your account are not handled in the same way and have different payout requirements.
β
Minimum Withdrawal Threshold: To ensure a smooth and safe transaction process for everyone, there's a minimum amount required before you can withdraw your funds. If your "Available to pay out to Your Bank" balance is below this threshold, you won't be able to cash out until it reaches the minimum amount.
βAccount Safety Measures: In some cases, payouts may be disabled due to safety concerns related to account inactivity or ownership of your content. This is to protect both creators and fans from potential misuse or fraud.
π‘ Please note this is a precaution which we aim to avoid, and only carried out in specific cases and when entirely necessary.
